Jaimie K. Wilson is a Florida native but has lived all over the country thanks to growing up as a Navy brat. After graduating from Sarah Lawrence College in 1993, she worked as a newspaper reporter for The Florida Times-Union and continued to expand her command of language and media as an award-winning features writer and poet, in addition to working as a web content creator, eLearning designer and PR specialist.

She is a single mother of two children and enjoys cooking almost as much as she loves writing. She is a firm believer that good communication and getting to know each other’s stories are the best start to any sustainable solution.
