Atlantic Logistics is a North Florida based 3PL company that specializes in a few key service areas to take your supply chain to the next level. This includes truckload, less than load (LTL), flatbed, refrigerated, specialized, and government. Why do we prioritize these select services? HOW WE WORK
Exceptional Service:We are a service business. Our job is to provide a service to our customers moving their loads and providing shipments for our carriers. We strive to provide that service exceptionally and to make it an experience that is enjoyable and addresses issues proactively for our customers and carriers.
Innovation: The 3PL industry has changed dramatically in the last 20 years. We will strive to be on the forefront of that change, constantly finding new ways, new tools to make the experience better for our customers, carriers, and team members. We will leverage technology (e.g., AI, RPAs, automated tracking, APIs) to eliminate redundant mindless work and automate where possible to make the process faster and more efficient. We will also innovate in our processes to provide better service and experience, e.g., we will constantly provide new safeguards to eliminate the ever-changing fraud and theft in the supply chain.
Continuous Improvement: All processes have room for improvement. Our team members strive to find ways to continuously improve how we do what we do. The way we have always done it may be a good way, even a very good way, but we can always find a better way to reduce failures, improve on-time percentage, etc. Our mindset is to continually improve the experience of working with and for Atlantic Logistics.
Tenacious Solutions: As a logistics provider, there are many ways to get from Point A to Point B. We will strive to offer the best solutions for our customers and, where applicable, provide more cost-effective solutions or options to meet our customers’ needs. We will think outside the box (and inside as well), work as a team, and consider all options to provide exceptional cost-effective service.
WHO WE ARE
The Golden Rule: Jesus taught “treat people the same way you want them to treat you” (Matthew 7:12). Regardless of individual faith or spiritualty, this rule is good for all people, and we will strive to treat others the way we want to be treated. We will speak with drivers the way we want to be spoken to, and we will treat our customers and co-workers the way we would want to be treated (e.g., fairly and respectfully).
Integrity: We will perform our job and treat others with integrity. Thus, when we cover a load with a carrier, we will keep that carrier on the shipment even if a cheaper carrier calls in wanting that load. We will be truthful in our words: if we forgot to arrange a shipment for pickup, we will tell the customer “Sorry, I forgot” and not “the turbo went out.” We will be honest in our dealings.
Respect: We will interact respectfully with our team members (up and down the reporting chain), carriers and customers. We will treat others who are different from ourselves with the dignity and respect that all humans deserve; discrimination of any kind (against race, gender, gender identity, religion, etc.) has no place at Atlantic Logistics. We will build and strengthen our teams utilizing the unique perspectives and differences we all bring to the table when solving complex problems.
Family/People Oriented: We realize there is more to life (and business) than profits, dollars, and cents. Although we certainly seek to be profitable, as a family-owned business we base our decisions on more than dollars. Therefore, we will carefully weigh hiring and firing decisions. We will strive to ensure a healthy work/life balance, encouraging employees to enjoy paid time off without guilt. We will constantly strive to make sure our workplace is a Best Places to Work contender and will push for continuous improvement and growth.
Teamwork: At Atlantic, we know that the best solutions and service occur when we work as a team, which is why we are not commission based. We want the rising tide to raise all ships and strongly believe that when we work across departments to provide solutions for our customers, everyone wins. Our team members will not be driven to maximize gross profits on shipments but will instead provide wholistic solutions that benefit all parties.
Atlantic Cares: We give back to our community by providing our employees with paid time off for volunteering at local nonprofits. We donate $1 from every load moved to various charities. We will support and strengthen the acts of giving and service, making our work more enjoyable and the world a better place.
