Occasionally, we have the privilege of participating in something truly special.
Recently, we had the honor of transporting a handicap-accessible hunting blind from Texas to Leesburg, GA, for Miracle in the Woods, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Jamie and Bethany Kiep.
Miracle in the Woods offers individuals with special needs and disabilities a weekend of outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and therapeutic horseback riding. This incredible event is made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers who provide assistance at no cost to the participants.
Currently, this service is available for local day hunts, but the non-profit is actively fundraising to build a guest lodge. This lodge will offer guests three meals a day along with various outdoor adventures. The Kieps aim to provide this experience entirely free of charge, covering airfare, travel, licensing, and food.
