Recently, Atlantic Logistics was selected to assist the Florida Army National Guard in supporting one of their unit movements. Through our partnership with Buchanan Hauling and Rigging Inc, we were able to achieve complete mission success and support our men and women in uniform.
As anyone who has ever experienced Military Operations can tell you, the involved planning, adjustments, and re-planning can be a seemingly endless cycle. It is in this, that the greatest military on Earth excels above all others; the ability to constantly adapt and overcome as the mission and situation evolves. Our Unit was no exception to this standard, as they exemplified and embodied the U.S. Army’s Warrior Ethos:
Our team of Logistics Specialists stayed in constant communication with the Chain of Command to receive changes and adapt with the needs of the Army. In this case, our Government Services team called on one of our most reliable and knowledgeable carriers, Buchanan Hauling and Rigging. Their experience and deep industry knowledge proved invaluable as we had to stay nimble and adroitly adapt as changes were handed down.
In order to provide immediate adaptability, we provided one of our Government Services Logistics Specialists for on-site support. His previous experience as a U.S. Army Transportation Management Coordinator offered a unique asset that stood as a Liaison between our carrier’s drivers and the Chain of Command. As a company, we're fortunate to have a deep bench of talent to call on as needed.
In a combined effort, Atlantic Logistics, Buchanan Hauling and Rigging, and the Soldiers of the U.S. Army National Guard rose to the challenge. In less than 12 hours, the team coordinated, loaded, and departed over 20 trucks to their destination, resulting in complete mission success.
